Vietnam has a varied climate dominated predominantly by the Tropical monsoons that sweep annually from north to south. These occur between May and October in the north and from September to January in the south. The country remains otherwise dry throughout the year.
Vietnam Passport & Visa Information
To gain entry into Vietnam a passport with at least 1 month validity after the date of expiration of visa must be produced by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states.
NOTE: Travellers are advised to carry copies of all documentation when travelling in Vietnam.

A return ticket is not required by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states.
VISA
A visa is required by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and most EU states. Nationals of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden are required to obtain a visa for stays of up to 15 days. All transit passengers are not required to obtain a visa for stays of less than 24 hours, as long as they do not leave the airport and providing they can produce evidence of onwards tickets.

Costs can vary but generally a tourist visa will cost US$43 (single entry); US$48 (express service); US$50 (multiple entry) Visas are generally valid for 1 month.
