Weather in the UK
The weather in the UK is always a popular talking point and as such an indication therein lies that it’s not always as good as it could be. But, when the sun shines in the UK it is without doubt one of the most wonderful and beautiful places to be in the world.
The further north you travel the colder it gets in the United Kingdom. Summer is generally from April through to October and winter between November and March. Temperatures vary tremendously.
UK Passport & Visa Information
To gain entry into the United Kingdom nationals of Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states must produce a passport with validity of at least 3 months beyond the length of stay. EU nationals may also enter the UK using a valid national ID card.
Note: A passport is not required for travel between Great Britain and Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. All passengers who are transiting the UK on their way to the Republic of Ireland are advised to produce return tickets to avoid any interrogation.
Nationals not requiring a visa are advised to produce either a return ticket or if having arrived on a one way basis, then proof of sufficient funds to accommodate and support themselves whilst in the UK throughout the duration of their stay.
Nationals from Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states are not required to have a visa for stays of up to 6 months.
