Weather in Turkey
Turkey has a wide variety of climates due primarily to its size and geographical location. On the northern coastal side you will experience fairly damp and clammy summers with rainy winters.
The eastern Mediterranean and Aegean coastal areas get the best weather in the spring and autumn, combined with a moderate sea breeze. During the months of June to August Turkey experiences it hottest and busiest periods of tourism. Families should beware of exceedingly high temperatures as its not easy to cope if you are used to the damp and cold British weather.
