Weather in Tunisia
The weather in Tunisia is generally warm all year round. Between May and October the temperature will be at its hottest and will range between 19ºC (66ºF) and 27ºC (81ºF) which is the peak season. The temperature drops in the months between November and March to between 10ºC (50ºF) and 15ºC (59ºF). Rainfall is periodical all year round.
Tunisia Passport & Visa Information
To gain entry into Tunisia a passport with 6 months validity after the return date must be produced by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states.
A return ticket is required by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states.
A visa is not required for stays of periods of up to 3 months by nationals of Britain, Canada, USA and other EU states; nationals of Greece may enter without a visa for a maximum period of 30 days; nationals of Germany and USA may enter without a visa for a maximum period of 4 months. Nationals of Australia do need to obtain a visa in order to gain entry into Tunisia and can obtain this on arrival at the point of entry.
Nationals of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Cyprus and the Slovak Republic must prove that they are travelling on a recognised package holiday and show documentation to substantiate this.
Transit passengers are not required to obtain a visa as long as they can provide proof of onward travel documentation. All visitors must be able to prove that they have sufficient funds available to them to support themselves financially throughout the period of their stay.
