Thailand is generally very hot especially between the months of March and May. The rainy or monsoon season occurs from June to October and high levels of humidity will also be experienced at this time. Debatably the best times to travel to Thailand are between November and February which is commonly called the cool season. The paradise islands down in the south are best visited between June and September.
Thailand Passport & Visa Information
A valid passport with at least 6 months validity must be produced on arrival in Thailand.
Visas are required by all nationals for tourism stays of up to 30 days. Nationals of Bulgaria, Romania and Malta must obtain a visa prior to travelling to Thailand. Nationals of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Poland, Slovak Republic and Slovenia who may apply for visas on arrival for stays up to 15 days.
Note: The overall duration of a stay in Thailand for travellers entering without a visa must not exceed 90 during and six month period counting from the date of the first entry.
