The climate in Sweden is surprisingly mild although the weather seems to do the right thing in all the right places. Summers are April to October and can get hot with temperatures reaching 17ºC (63ºF) in areas further north. Winters are from October through to February and temperatures can reach as low as -5ºC (23ºF) and good levels of snow are found in the mountainous areas in the south.
