The driest time to go to the west coast of Sri Lanka is from December – March, whereas we recommend that the south and east coasts are best visited in April – September. December – March are by far the busiest periods for tourists especially over the Christmas and New Year time so we advise to book your accommodation in advance!
Generally speaking the weather in Sri Lanka is always perfect so don’t worry too much about the rain as it generally has a quick down pour and then the sun will be shining again in a matter of minutes.
