Don’t worry too much about the weather when you go to Singapore. Generally it’s nice and warm with regular outbursts of rain and not a lot of wind and most places have air conditioning systems. Humidity can be high especially in between March and July times. Average high temperatures are around the 30ºC (86ºF) in the summer months.
Singapore Passport & Visa Information
To gain entry into Singapore a passport with at least 6 months validity beyond the date of departure is required by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states.
A return ticket is required by all nationals of British, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states.
All nationals from Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states must obtain a Social Visit Pass which is issued on arrival. Sufficient funds for the duration of the stay must be proved as well as a return or onward ticket. British and Irish nationals can stay for a maximum period of 30 days; other nationals may stay for a period of 14 days. All visitors using a Social Visit Pass are not allowed to work in Singapore. Extensions are available on application for a period of 90 days.
