Weather in Portugal
Portugal has famously hot and sunny summers which make it an ideal beach destination. With temperate springs and autumns, mild winters. The northern and central parts can be quite wet at times but sunshine generally prevails.

Portugal Passport & Visa Information

Portugal is a signatory of the 1995 Schengen Agreement.

To gain entry into Portugal a passport with at least 3 months validity beyond the length of stay must be produced by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states. EU nationals are permitted to gain entry by means of producing a valid national ID card.

A return ticket is not required by nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states.

A visa is not required by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states for stays of up to 90 days for reasons of tourism.
