Weather in Morocco
The coastal regions of Morocco experience mild weather generally although bouts of rain are normal further north. An average winter (December – March) daily temperature in Casablanca or Tangiers will be approximately 12ºC (54ºF) whereas in the summer (June – September) it can rise to higher than 25ºC (77ºF) and temperatures of 40ºC are not unheard of so be warned when travelling at peak summer times.
The rainy season is between November – January but has been known to last for an extra month or two. Desert visits are recommended at this cooler time as the sand is subdued by the moisture.
