As with most Mediterranean countries in the area Monaco experiences moderate weather with many days of sunshine each year. Temperatures average around 26ºC (79ºF) in the summer which is between July and August. Autumn is between September and November with temperatures at around 18ºC (65ºF) and winter is between December through to January where temperatures average around 10ºC (50ºF).

France is a signatory to the 1995 Schengen Agreement.
To gain entry into France a full passport with at least 3 months validity must be shown by all nationals of Britain, Australia, Canada, USA and other EU states. EU nationals holding a valid national ID card may also use this to gain entry.
A visa is not required by nationals of Britain and other EU states for visits of an unlimited period whereas nationals of Australia, Canada and USA may enter without a visa for a maximum period of up to 90 days. Proof of a return ticket is not required for nationals of Britain and other EU states; however, nationals of Australia, Canada and USA are required to demonstrate proof of this information.
