The summer season is from April to June and most visitors tend to come at this time. Temperatures in the south tend to be a lot hotter than in the north. Heavy winter snowfall occurs in the mountainous regions throughout the winter months of November to March and some excellent skiing can be found here.
The best time to travel to Italy and find the hot weather is the beginning of May. As soon as you approach the month of June it starts to get very hot. As you get into August the hot weather starts to moderate until October.
