Flying Into the French Alps

The main airport that feeds the area is Geneva International Airport which has the airport code GVA. It is located in the Swiss city of Geneva. You will need to hire a car and cross the Swiss border into France to gain access to the French Alps but with the cost of low cost flights into Geneva being cheaper and the regularity of flights being more often this is the most popular way of flying in.

Other airports that can be used to gain access to the area are Chambery (CMF), Lyon (LYS) and Grenoble (GNB)
