Tenerife Zoo Monkey Park

For all animal loversm this place is heaven as you can actually interact with the animals and can stroke and feed them. The monkeys are adorable and you may find it hard to drag yourself away!

Apart from the monkeys there are other animals and a huge number of very colourful birds, some of which can talk, but remember they only speak Spanish!

Mount Teide

This spectacular snow-covered volcano can be seen from almost anywhere on the island when the skies are clear. It is also the highest point in Spain, at 3,718 metres. Mount Teide is part of the larger National Park, which has some amazing scenery and cool windy weather. There is a cable car to the top.

Flying Into Tenerife

The main airport that feeds the area is Tenerife South International airport which has the airport code TFS.

There is another airport on Tenerife which is called Tenerife North Airport with the airport code TFN, however this airport is only used for scheduled flights so it is not normally featured as an option when travelling to Tenerife.
