Welcome to the Balearic IslandsThe Balearic Islands are a cluster of beautiful islands in the western Mediterranean Sea. The islands are
Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca, Formentera and
Cabrera. Their excellent climate with some 300 days of sun per year, wonderful beaches, a rich cultural offer and the unusual hospitality of their inhabitants make the Balearic Islands one of the most preferred holiday destinations in Spain. The airport of Palma de Mallorca sees more passengers than any other airport in Spain.
Each of the islands has a strong personality of its own, and each one of them offers much more than just the possibility of spending a holiday on a nice beach.

The Balearics experience their best weather in the months of May, June and September where the temperature is warm although the hottest months are July and August. The islands enjoy a temperate, Mediterranean climate.
The maximum temperatures are not excessive even in the height of summer; this is mainly owing to the natural cooling effect of the sea breeze. Temperatures below zero are practically unknown.
